Fire Weather Planning Forecast for NE Oregon and SE Washington

.DISCUSSION...Dry conditions with light winds will continue 

while cloud cover is expected to increase overnight. A weak upper

system will arrive tomorrow, with mostly breezy winds 10-20 mph, 

and 15-25 mph and gusts up to 35 mph along the Cascade east 

slopes, Simcoe Highlands, Kittitas valley, and OR Columbia Basin. 

A stronger system is expected to arrive Sunday afternoon with 

widespread rainfall through Monday, isolated thunderstorms across 

eastern mountains Monday afternoon, and breezy to windy conditions

beginning late Monday morning. Strongest winds to around 30mph 

and gusts up to 45mph will be along the Simcoe Highlands, Kittitas

valley, and portions of the OR Columbia Basin.
