A band of thunderstorms that lies from Eielson Air Force Bas to Chatanika will move west over Fairbanks by 4pm, and then moves to Nenana to Livengood by 5pm. Eielson Air Force bas has winds gusting to 40 mph, and Fairbanks can expect east winds gusting to 40 mph to moves east across the city and hit the Fairbanks International Airport in the next 10 minutes.
