Precipitation will begin spreading across West Texas Wednesday afternoon with the heaviest activity Wednesday night. Precipitation is expected to remain in liquid form generally southeast of a Post to Dougherty to Memphis line. Northwest of this line, a wintry mix will be possible Wednesday night extending into the morning hours of Thanksgiving Day. The mix of wintry precipitation will include freezing rain, snow, and sleet across the far Northwestern South Plains and mainly freezing rain and rain across the southern and central South Plains.
