...Strong And Gusty Non-Thunderstorm Winds Expected Tonight...

...Downed Trees and A Few Power Outages Possible...



A strong low pressure system passing north of Arkansas will

produce strong and gusty winds during the overnight hours.

Sustained winds of 15 to 25 MPH are expected, with gusts of 40 to

45 MPH common. It is possible that localized areas could

experience wind gusts of 50 MPH or higher. 



These gusts will not be associated with thunderstorms, and will

tend to last longer. Unsecured objects will be blown around. Some

tree limbs and possibly a few trees could be downed, with some

power outages possible. High profile vehicles could have some

difficulty, especially on bridges and elevated roadways. 



Winds are expected to diminish early Wednesday Morning.
