...Fog in portions of Central and Southern Iowa Early This

Morning...



Areas of fog will persist across central and southern Iowa for

another hour or two, mainly south of Interstate 80 and east of

Interstate 35. However, increasing north to northwest winds will 

disperse the fog by 2 AM with vastly improving visibilities. 

However, prior to that time, visibilities below one mile will be 

common with local areas of one quarter mile or less. If traveling 

early this morning, slow down if you encounter poor visibilities 

and allow extra time to reach your destination.
