At 114 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Bluford to near Elkville.

Movement was east at 45 mph.



Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with these storms.



Locations impacted include...

Mount Vernon, West Frankfort, Benton, Du Quoin, Fairfield,

Mcleansboro, Christopher, Rend Lake Area, Sesser, Zeigler, Royalton,

Wayne City, Elkville, Bluford, Valier, West City, Thompsonville, Ina,

North City and Dahlgren.



A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CST for south central

and southern Illinois.
