...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN JASPER...NEWTON...

SOUTHWESTERN KEMPER...SOUTHEASTERN NESHOBA AND WESTERN LAUDERDALE

COUNTIES UNTIL 200 AM CST...



At 115 AM CST, Meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms

along a line extending from near Neshoba to Roberts. Movement was

northeast at 50 mph.



Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Neshoba and Little Rock around 120 AM CST.

  House and Herbert Springs around 125 AM CST.

  Damascus around 135 AM CST.

  Liberty and Meehan around 140 AM CST.

  Meridian, Nellieburg and Suqualena around 145 AM CST.

  Marion and Daleville around 155 AM CST.

  Meridian Station around 200 AM CST.



Other locations impacted by these storms include Chunky and Hickory.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious

injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors

during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
