...Intense Snow Showers Moving across Central and Northern Iowa...

 

At 248 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking an area of intense snow 

showers along a line extending from around Hampton to around Boone. 

Movement was east at 25 mph.



Wind gusts of 50 mph and dramatic visibility reductions to a half 

mile or less will be possible with these fairly brief snow showers.



Locations impacted include...

Interstate 35 between Ames and Mason City, Boone, Nevada, Iowa 

Falls, Hampton, Eldora, Allison, Story City, Huxley, Madrid, 

Parkersburg, Ackley, Slater, State Center, Clarksville, Shell Rock, 

Roland, Jewell Junction, Greene and Aplington.
