...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN FORREST...SOUTHEASTERN

COVINGTON...NORTHWESTERN LAMAR AND JONES COUNTIES UNTIL 345 AM CST...



At 253 AM CST, Meteorologists were tracking strong thunderstorms

along a line extending from 6 miles southeast of Collins to near

Improve. Movement was east at 55 mph.



Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.



Strong thunderstorms will be near...

  Laurel, Ellisville, Sanford and Rawls Springs around 310 AM CST.

  Tuckers Crossing, Eastabuchie and Moselle around 320 AM CST.

  Mill Creek and Macedonia around 325 AM CST.

  Ovett around 335 AM CST.



Other locations impacted by these storms include Seminary.

High winds can bring down trees and large limbs resulting in serious

injury or property damage. Exercise extreme caution when outdoors

during such strong winds...and be especially aware of older trees.
