...SEA FOG CONTINUES ALONG THE MISSISSIPPI COAST AND PLAQUEMINES

PARISH...



Sea fog has reduced visibilities along the Mississippi 

coast mainly to the south of Interstate 10 with the greatest 

impacts along Highway 90 and Pass Road. Visibilities will 

typically range from one half to one mile. Similar conditions are

occurring over lower portions of Plaquemines Parish. Drivers are 

urged to slow down and use caution when driving in foggy areas. If

reduced visibilities drop further to a quarter mile or less, a 

dense fog advisory may be issued.



Conditions should improve rapidly later this morning after the

passage of a cold front.
