Toppenish, Yakima, Appleton, Cle Elum, Cliffdell, Goldendale, 

and Bickleton

Snow and wind continues to impact much of central Washington. 

Strong north to northeast winds expected through the evening, 

especially over higher summits and passes, with gusts 35-50 mph 

possible. In addition, moderate snow continues on north and east 

facing slopes of the Washington Cascades and the Simcoe Highlands

with lighter snow elsewhere. Snow amounts of 3-7+ inches possible

in the higher elevations, including White Pass, Satus Pass and 

Rye Grass Summit. Lower elevations, including Yakima and 

Ellensburg, will see around an inch of snow possible. The 

combination of snow and wind could create areas of blowing snow 

and lead to hazardous travel. Conditions should slowly improve 

overnight into Thanksgiving.
