AND PORTIONS OF CENTRAL WISCONSIN... As low pressure moves away from the region, snow will be diminishing through mid-afternoon. North or northwest winds will remain gusty, however, with gusts up to 45 mph possible. The combination of the gusty winds and heavy, wet snow could lead to tree and powerline damage. Blowing and drifting of the snow will also lead to very difficult travel conditions. Use caution on the roads through the rest of the afternoon.
