SCHOHARIE...EAST CENTRAL MONTGOMERY AND NORTHWESTERN RENSSELAER 

COUNTIES...



At 745 PM EST, radar indicated heavy rain showers and embedded 

thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Glenville to 

Duanesburg to near Schoharie. Movement was east at 50 mph.



Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with these

showers and thunderstorms.



Locations impacted include...

Albany, Schenectady, Troy, Clifton Park, Rotterdam, East Greenbush,

Cohoes, Watervliet, Rensselaer, Colonie, Scotia, Mechanicville,

Delmar, Latham, Guilderland, Glenville, Niskayuna, Duanesburg,

Menands and Berne.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 88 between exits 23 and 25.

 Interstate 90 between exits 9 and 26.

 Interstate 890 between exits 1a and 9.

 Interstate 87 between exits 23 and 7, and between exits 8A and 11.

 Interstate 787 between exits 1 and 9.

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
