...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...



At 420 PM PST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10 

miles northwest of Tupman, moving northeast at 10 mph.



Pea size hail will be possible with this storm. Large amounts of 

small hail may fall with this storm. Hail accumulating along 

roadways can make travel hazardous.



Locations impacted include...

Wasco, Shafter, Rosedale, Buttonwillow and Harris Ranch.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio 

stations and available television stations for additional 

information and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
