...MINOR SMALL STREAM FLOODING POSSIBLE ALONG THE ANCHOR RIVER 

THROUGH EARLY FRIDAY MORNING...



Recent rainfall has increased water levels along the Anchor River

and its tributaries. As of 3 PM Thursday, the gauge at Anchor

Point indicates a water level of 14.5 ft, or 1 foot above action

stage. Social media reports also indicate high water at Black 

Water Bend and the Chakok River Bridge on Chakok Road. Continued 

light rain tonight may cause water levels to raise slightly 

overnight before subsiding Friday morning.



Use caution when driving in these areas. Do not attempt to drive

through areas where water is covering the road. Remember...turn

around, don't drown.
