...Black Ice Expected Across Parts Of The North Country...



Pockets of light freezing drizzle will continue across northern 

New York and Vermont through the mid morning hours today. This 

has led to the formation of black ice in some spots...especially 

on secondary and untreated roads. Be aware travel conditions can 

change quickly when encountering these pockets of freezing 

drizzle. It does not take much for slick roadways to develop 

despite the freezing drizzle being spotty and light. Use caution 

if traveling across northern New York and Vermont early this 

morning.
