GARFIELD AND EAST CENTRAL GRAND COUNTIES UNTIL 430 PM MST...



At 341 PM MST, Doppler radar was tracking strong squalls along a 

line extending from 27 miles west of Grand Junction to 15 miles 

southwest of Fruita to 27 miles northeast of Castle Valley. Movement 

was northeast at 30 mph.



Winds in excess of 40 mph as well as briefly heavy snow will be 

possible with these squalls.



Locations impacted include...

Grand Junction, Fruita, Mack, Loma, Glade Park and Redlands. 



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 1 and 27.

 Interstate 70 in Utah between mile markers 223 and 231.

 Colorado 139 between mile markers 1 and 18.
