VANDERBURGH...PIKE AND NORTHERN DAVIESS COUNTIES UNTIL 1145 AM CST...



At 1057 AM CST, the public reported strong thunderstorms along a line

extending from 10 miles west of Petersburg to near Kasson. Movement 

was east at 60 mph. Dime size hail was reported in Evansville at 

10:55 AM. 



Nickel size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with

these storms.



Locations impacted include...

Evansville, Princeton, Boonville, Newburgh, Chandler, Fort Branch,

Oakland City, Petersburg, Rockport, Melody Hill, Dale, Haubstadt,

Darmstadt, Lynnville, Winslow, Grandview, Patoka, Santa Claus,

Folsomville and Kasson.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may lead

to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded

roadways.
