BIENVILLE AND SOUTHEASTERN LINCOLN PARISHES UNTIL 245 PM CST...



At 158 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16

miles east of Ringgold, or 17 miles west of Jonesboro, moving

northeast at 55 mph.



Nickel size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with

this storm.



Locations impacted include...

Ruston, Grambling, Jonesboro, Choudrant, Hodge, North Hodge, East

Hodge, Saline, Lucky, Bienville, Quitman, Eros, Downsville, Brice,

Friendship and Liberty Hill.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.



This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
