CENTRAL NATCHITOCHES AND NORTHERN SABINE PARISHES...SOUTHEASTERN

SHELBY AND NORTH CENTRAL SABINE COUNTIES UNTIL 300 PM CST...



At 214 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8

miles east of Patroon, or 23 miles southeast of Center, moving

northeast at 50 mph.



Penny size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with

this storm.



Locations impacted include...

Milam, Zwolle, Converse, Allen, Oak Grove, Pleasant Hill, Noble,

Toledo Bend Reservoir North, Belmont, Marthaville, Rambin and Ajax.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.

Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe

shelter inside a building or vehicle.



This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio

stations and available television stations for additional information

and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
