Fog has develop across parts of eastern Iowa, northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois and will become locally dense at times into tonight. As of 530 PM, the worst conditions were south of highway 34 near Keokuk, Iowa were the visibility was down to a quarter mile. The dense fog may expand in areal coverage and spread northward over the next several hours. Visibilities should then improve between 8 and 11 PM from south to north as a cold front shifts through the area. If the dense fog becomes widespread enough, encompassing several counties, a dense fog advisory may be needed. Motorists should drive with extra caution and allow additional travel time. Use low beams, reduce speed, and allow for plenty of room between you and other cars. $$ Uttech
