OCONEE COUNTIES UNTIL 145 AM EST...



At 101 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a

line extending from 12 miles northeast of Clayton to 9 miles

southwest of Toccoa, and moving east at 30 mph.



Locations to be impacted include...

Toccoa, Seneca, Walhalla, Westminster, Lavonia, Gumlog, Highlands,

Martin, Avalon and Salem.



Wind gusts up to 40 mph will be possible in these areas.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



The combination of gusty winds and saturated soil conditions may 

cause scattered trees and power lines to fall. Seek shelter inside 

an interior room.
