At 1216 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along

a line extending from near Springville to Vestavia Hills. Movement

was east at 50 mph.



Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms. A wind 

gust to 42 mph was recently recorded at the Birmingham International 

Airport.



Locations impacted include...

Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Mountain Brook,

Trussville, Talladega, Pell City, Irondale, Leeds, Moody,

Springville, Odenville, Center Point, Clay, Pinson, Tarrant, Lincoln,

Margaret and Argo.
