...A BAND OF HEAVY SNOW WILL AFFECT TIOGA COUNTY AND NORTHERN PARTS 

OF LYCOMING COUNTY...



HAZARDS...A band of heavy snow which can rapidly reduce visibility to

near zero. This band of heavy snow is producing extremely heavy snow

at the rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.



LOCATION AND MOVEMENT...At 807 AM EST, a band of heavy snow was along

a line extending from Jasper to near Grover and moving southwest at 5

MPH.



LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...

Mansfield, Wellsboro, Morris, Elkland, Blossburg, Westfield,

Covington, Arnot, Keeneyville, Ralston, Ogdensburg, Buttonwood,

Tioga, Knoxville, Liberty, Osceola and Mansfield University.



SAFETY INFO...

The snow will accumulate so rapidly that it will be extremely 

difficult for the road crews to keep the roads clear. Consider 

delaying travel. If you must travel through this band of extremely 

heavy snow, leave early, slow down, and allow plenty of extra time 

to reach your destination.
