A band of moderate to heavy snow will continue to sink south

across New London and Middlesex counties in Connecticut and

eventually eastern Suffolk County on Long Island. Locations under

this band could receive a quick inch or two of snow in an hour.

Snow covered roadways and reduced visibility will make for

difficult travel early this morning. This band should diminish in

intensity and move out of the area towards daybreak.
