An area of light to moderate snow will sink south across New 

London and Middlesex counties in Connecticut and eventually 

eastern Suffolk County on Long Island. Locations under this band 

could receive a quick half inch of snow. Snow covered roadways 

and reduced visibility will make for slippery travel this 

morning. This band should diminish in intensity and move out of 

the area by mid to late morning.
