...Patchy Dense Fog lingering across portions of the Rio Grande

Valley...



Satellite images and surface observations indicated areas of 

fog...some locally dense...lingering across portions of eastern 

Hidalgo, southern Willacy and inland Cameron Counties. 

Visibilities remain in the 2 to 4 mile range in these areas with 

isolated areas reduced to one half of a mile.



Visibilities will continue to improve through midday as the 

daytime heating increases.



Motorists are urged to slow down and drive with caution through

midday when encountering the areas of locally dense fog.
