...FREEZING RAIN POTENTIAL ACROSS THE ARCO DESERT EARLY THIS 

MORNING...



At 209 AM MST, radar was showing a band of precipitation traversing 

the Arco Desert and INL region. Current webcams were showing what 

looked to be rain while surface temperatures were cold enough to 

support the potential for freezing rain. Motorists traveling across 

INL and the Arco Desert this morning should use extreme caution 

through about 9 AM MST until road temperatures warm above freezing.



Locations impacted include...

Arco, Atomic City, Craters Of The Moon, Northwest Inl, Central Inl,

Southeast Inl, Southwest Inl, Butte City, Coxs Well Airport, Howe,

East Butte and Big Southern Butte.
