Patchy freezing drizzle is expected to develop early this evening across north-central and far northeast Wisconsin, and then become more widespread and expand south and east during the night. Temperatures will remain cold enough for the precipitation to fall as freezing drizzle north and west of the Fox Valley. Slightly warmer air across the Fox Valley will result in a mix of drizzle and freezing drizzle in east-central Wisconsin. The greatest risk of freezing drizzle in east-central Wisconsin will be at locations west of Interstate 41. The drizzle or freezing drizzle is then expected to gradually transition to snow late tonight into Monday morning. The precipitation may also be in the form of rain Monday morning across the lower Fox Valley east to Manitowoc. The freezing drizzle is expected to remain fairly light. However, it only takes a light glaze to cause untreated surfaces to become very slippery. If freezing drizzle develops tonight into Monday morning, remember to slow down and use caution while traveling. Be sure to allow extra time for the Monday morning commute and stay tuned to the latest weather forecasts. $$ Eckberg
