...SPECIAL WEATHER STATEMENT...



At 1115 AM PST, Doppler radar was tracking strong showers along a 

line extending from south of Hollister to Chualar to just south of 

Carmel Valley Village. Movement was southeast at 10 mph.



Winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with these showers. In 

addition, moderate to briefly heavy rainfall may cause localized 

ponding of water on roadways and in low-lying areas.



Locations impacted include...

Soledad, Gonzales and Chualar. 



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...



Locally heavy rainfall is also occurring with these showers, and may 

lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through 

flooded roadways.
