...SPOTTY LIGHT ICING POSSIBLE EARLY THIS MORNING...



At 145 AM, Doppler Radar showed a few light rain showers over 

southern Connecticut, heading to the northeast.



These spotty light showers will move across the southern half of 

Hartford, Tolland, and Windham Counties through 330 AM, passing 

mainly south of Hartford and Willimantic, and possibly into

adjacent western Rhode Island.



Since temperatures are still below freezing in some locations, it

is possible for light icing to occur as these showers pass

through. 



Drivers should be alert that roads that look wet may actually be 

coated with a thin layer of ice. Be especially careful on bridges 

and overpasses.
