...BE ALERT FOR ICY SPOTS ON ROADS EARLY THIS MORNING...



At 355 AM, Doppler Radar showed a few light rain showers over 

northern Connecticut, adjacent portions of Massachusetts, and

northwest Rhode Island.



Since temperatures are still below freezing in some locations, it

is possible for light icing to occur through 5 AM as these 

showers pass through. 



Drivers should be alert that roads that look wet may actually be 

coated with a thin layer of ice. Be especially careful on bridges 

and overpasses.
