...Patchy Freezing Rain over the Next Few Hours...



Temperatures are currently in the lower to middle 30s across

Dutchess and Litchfield Counties. As a batch of light rain lifts 

northeast across the area, this precipitation may freeze on 

contact with some surfaces, resulting in a light coating of ice.

This may even occur with the air temperatures slightly above

freezing, as ground temperatures remain very cold.



Temperatures will continue to rise over the next few hours, 

ending the threat for freezing rain by 8 AM. Until then, 

travelers should take caution, as some localized slippery 

conditions will be possible, especially on untreated surfaces.
