...WATCH OUT FOR ICY SPOTS ON ROADWAYS THROUGH MID MORNING...



At 635 AM, Doppler weather radar showed light rain showers across

portions of northern Connecticut into south central Massachusetts,

with reports of patchy light rain, drizzle and freezing rain. 



Light icing is still possible as temperatures hold at or just 

below freezing will continue through the morning commute. 

Temperatures should rise to above freezing by around 9 AM, so 

road conditions are expected to improve.



Motorists should remain alert for roads that may look wet, but 

may actually be coated with a thin layer of ice. While some most 

main roads have been treated, be careful on back roads, bridges 

and overpasses.
