...Low Visibilities Due to Snow and Wind...



At 747 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a band of moderate snow 

along a line extending from near Ute to Western. Movement was east 

at 40 mph.



The snow combined with northwest winds of 20 to 35 mph with gusts to 

45 mph is resulting in considerable visibility reductions of a half 

mile or less.



If you are traveling, prepare for sudden visibility restrictions.



Locations impacted include...

Omaha, Lincoln, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Papillion, La Vista, Blair,

Nebraska City, Crete, Plattsmouth, Ralston, Glenwood, Harlan, Gretna,

Waverly, Missouri Valley, Ashland, Syracuse, Valley and Wilber.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 29 between mile markers 15 and 89.

 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 46.

 Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 392 and 454.
