At 842 AM CST, an area of heavy snow was located along a line

extending from 8 miles southeast of Sac City to 5 miles east of

Pickrell. Movement was east at 45 mph.



Locations impacted include...

Omaha, Council Bluffs, Bellevue, Nebraska City, Plattsmouth, Red 

Oak, Clarinda, Glenwood, Shenandoah, Harlan, Auburn, Syracuse, 

Tecumseh, Oakland, Villisca, Hamburg, Malvern, Sidney, Weeping Water 

and Treynor.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 29 between mile markers 1 and 50, and near mile marker

53.

 Interstate 80 in Iowa between mile markers 1 and 48.



Visibilities will drop quickly to less than half of a mile in this 

area of heavy snow.



Use extra caution if you must travel. Rapid changes in visibility 

and potentially slick roads are likely to lead to accidents. 

Consider delaying travel until the squall passes your location.
