Snowfall totals of 3 to 6 inches are expected with the highest totals across Vilas County. The combination of freezing drizzle and snow will continue to cause roads to be snow covered and icy through early this evening. The fog may be locally dense near Manitowoc through early this afternoon with visibilities around a quarter of a mile or less. Visibilities should improve by mid afternoon. The precipitation is expected to change over to all snow by mid to late afternoon across the Fox Valley and lakeshore region. Snowfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected north of an Appleton to Kewaunee line with less than an inch to the south. Roads may become snow covered and slippery for the late afternoon and early evening commute.
