...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EARLY AFTERNOON...



Area web cams and surface observations show that patchy dense fog

is lingering along portions of the South Carolina coast. The most

impacted areas are around the Beaufort and Charleston county

coasts, especially locations in and around Charleston Harbor. The

patchy dense fog should remain limited to locations near the 

beaches, and should be relatively short-lived at any given 

location. Continued improvement and dissipation of fog is expected

through the early afternoon.

If driving, slow down and leave extra distance ahead of you in

case a sudden stop is needed.
