...Wintry precipitation possible late tonight into Tuesday...



A strong cold front will move across the region later today into 

tonight. Temperatures are expected to drop a good 30 degrees 

after this front's passage. As this temperature drop occurs, light

rain will eventually change over to light snow late tonight into 

tomorrow morning. Air temperatures by then will be in the lower 

to middle 30s, and ground temperatures will be above that...so 

significant accumulations are not expected. However, some light 

trace amounts up to a a few tenths of an inch may occur on 

elevated surfaces and grassy areas, particularly around and east 

of the Lakes in western Kentucky, closer to the Tennessee border.
