...A BAND OF MODERATE TO HEAVY LAKE EFFECT SNOW WILL AFFECT EASTERN 

CASS...SOUTHWESTERN ST.JOSEPH AND NORTHEASTERN BERRIEN COUNTIES...



At 939 AM EST, a band of moderate to heavy snow was located along a 

line extending from near Van Buren SP to near Bristol. Movement was 

east at 10 mph.



Locations impacted include...

Dowagiac, Constantine, Cassopolis, Watervliet, White Pigeon, Coloma,

Marcellus, Paw Paw Lake, Lake Michigan Beach, Union, Penn, Mottville,

Vandalia, Magician Lake, La Grange, Paradise Lake, Calvin Center,

Donnell Lake, Jones and Diamond Lake.



This includes the following highways...

 Interstate 196 near mile marker 7.

 Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 39 and 42.



Icy, snow covered, roads are expected.



Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be

prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra

time when traveling.
