EARLY THIS EVENING...



A band of light to moderate snowfall will move northeast from far

eastern Kentucky, and move across southwest Virginia and far 

southern West Virginia. This band of snow will move to the 

northeast through early evening, possibly eventually reaching 

Raleigh and Fayette counties between between 7:30 and 8 PM. A 

quick inch of snow may accompany this band, primarily on grassy 

and elevated surfaces. If traveling on area roadways, expect a 

rapid reduction of visibility once the snow begins. Although 

roadways are still generally warm, isolated slick spots may occur 

as temperatures continue to fall.
