...LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW PERSISTS...



Bands of light to moderate snow will continue to move northeast 

from far eastern Kentucky to across southwest Virginia and far 

southern West Virginia. One to two inches of snow have already 

fallen across most of these areas, with an additional inch of

accumulation not out of the question before the snow gradually 

diminishes around mid to late evening.



If traveling on area roadways this evening, expect a rapid 

reduction of visibility in areas of more moderate snowfall. 

Although main roadways are still generally warm, scattered slick 

spots may become more common throughout the evening as 

temperatures continue to fall.
